MetaParticles Renderer

Overview of MetaParticles Renderer

The MetaParticles Renderer plug-in, included only with Shade 9 professional, fluidifies spaces between two or more adjacent spheres.

Note: You should use Ray Tracing or a higher-quality rendering method. The rendering performed after the Radiosity calculation is not supported.

Using the MetaParticles Renderer

1. Create two or more spheres and then create a part to include the spheres.

Applying the MetaParticles Renderer

Applying the MetaParticles Renderer to Spheres with Surface Attributes

If the MetaParticles Renderer is applied to spheres with surface attributes, the attributes are also fluidified.

When applying the MetaParticles Renderer to spheres with the Transparency setting, or when dropping a shadow onto a MetaParticle object, the Ray Tracing Delta setting in the Misc. Rendering Options dialog box needs to be non-zero. (Specify a value around 50.)
