Shade 10 Batch Rendering

Batch rendering allows you to queue multiple Shade scenes for rendering in sequence, without needing to start rendering for each scene separately.
The Batch Rendering window is accessible by choosing Rendering > Batch Rendering.

Batch Rendering Settings
Show/Hide Button
Click this button to show or hide the Batch Rendering Settings (described below).
Add Scene Pull-down Menu
Adds a scene or several scenes to the queue of scenes to batch render.
Add Current Scene
Adds the current open scene to the batch rendering queue.
Add File...
Opens a file browser that lets you select a Shade scene file to add to the batch rendering queue.
Add Files From Folder...
Opens a file browser that lets you select a folder, and adds all the Shade scenes in that folder to the batch rendering queue.
Remove Button
Removes the currently selected scene from the scene list.
Start Button
Begins rendering each of the scenes in the order they appear in the scene list.
Stop Button
Stops rendering.
Batch Rendering Settings
Save Scene After Rendering Checkbox
When enabled, each scene in the batch rendering queue will be saved after being rendered.
Save Image Checkbox
When enabled, the image of each scene will be saved to disk after being rendered.
Image Format Pull-down Menu
Select the image file format you wish to use when the Save Image checkbox is enabled.
Change Output Folder
Select the location on disk to save the rendered images when the Save Image checkbox is enabled.
Show Output Folder
Open a Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Win) window to view the current output folder.
Number of Threads
Select the number of processing threads you wish to use for rendering.
Use ShadeGrid Servers
When enabled, ShadeGrid Servers will be used for batch rendering.
Scene List
Lists the queue of Shade scenes that will be rendered as a batch.
Turn off the checkbox to the left of the scene name if you wish it to be skipped during the batch rendering. |
