Invert Image Overview
The Invert Image function is a 2D effect that inverts the colors of a rendered image
This is a multi-plug-in consisting of the Rendered image contextual menu version that operates on rendered images, and the Effector version that can be used in animation rendering.
In both versions, the original Alpha channel remains as is.
Using the Invert Image Function
Contextual Menu Version
The Rendered image contextual menu version of Invert Image inverts the colors of a rendered image. If no rendered image exists, an error message will be displayed.
1. With a rendered image, right click (Win) / control key + click (Mac) the mouse in the Image window.
2. When you choose Invert Image from the contextual menu, the colors are immediately inverted.
Note: You cannot cancel this process.
Effector Version
The Invert Image Effector inverts the colors of a rendered image immediately after the rendering is finished. The original image is not saved.
1. Choose Invert Image from the Effector pull-down menu of the Effects tab in the Rendering options
2. After rendering, you will obtain an image whose colors are inverted. The Invert Image Effector can be applied in animation rendering.
The Effector version also supports Area Rendering.
After performing a normal rendering without using the Effector plug-in, choose the Invert Image Effector in the Rendering options, and then perform a Area Rendering. The colors are inverted only for the selected area. |
