In the Shortcut window, you can assign keys to activate Shade functions.

Most of the functions supported by Shade can be registered in the Shortcut window as keyboard shortcuts.

To open the Shortcut window choose View > Shortcut.

Keyboard Pull-down Menus

The letters from A to W and Y (all except X and Z), the numbers from 0 to 9, the function keys, and the tab key are available for using in Shortcut key assignments.

Select a function from any pull-down menu to assign the function to that key as a shortcut. In the initial state only four keys are assigned:

A: toggle the size of the 3D cursor,

G: toggle the Grid display,

M: Modify Control Points, and

S: Toggle Snap.

Load Button

You can load the Shortcut settings from a Shortcut setup file

Save Button

You can save the settings in the Shortcut window as a Shortcut setup file. |
